It’s finished! Well nearly, I need to varnish it but then it’s finished and I can’t wait to take it to the framers.

Created on beautiful paper with torn edges and measuring 30”x22” (unframed). This painting has been created by firstly pouring oils and turps onto a heavily primed surface. After the pour I then go in with a brush and my fingers layering up thick pigments of colour, once dry I applied a coat of beeswax with oils and then scraped back into the painting creating a wonderful depth. It is inspired by autumn and the emotions stirred form walking by rivers in the Cotswolds.
